well i had to leave at 3.30ish when i got back to victoria/telephone 4 people asked me where is everyone so if there was 4 you know theres gotta be others, yes if they got there on time they would have followed the crowd down to the park like I did, Not blaming anyone just saying the "road signs" just said Tea Party Rally at 2-5 at Telephone and victoria....no mention of the park, To be honest with you thats how I heard about the rally but now I know my way around this website and the madandngttia.com. Someone already sent me an email that the road signs banner should have said something about the park because not everyone knows about these websites, but I'm not ready to give out this website or the other one w/ the obama signs that reads 666, but again yea people should show up on time but not trying to blame anyone its something that is noted for next time.

Well they were on Victoria to almost 3 PM, so I don't think that many people missed it because of that, although some were more than an hour late. The notice on our web site specified that it ended in Montalvo Park, so don't blame us.

Yes I remember the one in March that was huge! wow it has been that long ago....Yea the one from last sunday was not communicated well, they had road signs to be at 2pm at the corner of victoria and telephone but nothing about going to the park so people were wondering where everyone went, the flyers were okay but not the road signs. I already voice that issue and its been noted so it wont happen again, lesson learned no big deal but its to bad I think a lot of people showed up and didn't see anyone and left. Yeah, I know what you mean. The ABC guy zeroed in on that with his camera and left shortly thereafter, without hearing the presentations. Same thing happened at the August 28 Impeach Obama rally- they went after the worst sign. Only the Channel 8 reporter really dug in and talked to people, but I'm not aware of any resulting broadcasts.
Too bad, because the March on Victoria was an excellent event. But you know what? They would have found something to object to, no matter what. The belated press coverage and commenters belittled Carla's remarks, number of attendees, attacked the "founders'" quaint costumes, remaining signs, you name it. There was an almost total old media blackout in advance, which held down attendance, too. To hell with them. We're creating our own new media to bypass it. Old media, especially liberal media, are dying. But Obama forces are talking about bailouts for it, and are already trying to hog-tie the Internet and talk radio, the only real Conservative media bastions, except for the Wall St Journal and Fox News. But even they are moving perceptually leftward, under the Murdoch influence and partial Middle Eastern ownership, by Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. I also see rising reporters with a liberal slant, such as Laura Meckler. We are at war.

Sorry I was talking about the rally on Sunday the 12th, corner of Victoria and Telephone but then we went to a park down the street forgot the name,I can stomack anything but I also don't agree w/ everything Beck says but in this issue what he was talking about today I agree with him. The left/libs love to see signs like 666 and yes I know that it was just 1 out of 250 but that one sign will make it in the liberal media, and Glenn showed a few msnbc/cnn clips w/ these extreme signs, like I said even a couple of people in our group didn't want to walk next to the sign not that we can't stomach it,its just gives out a bad message and bad for the image of the tea party. By the way my fav. show is O'Rielly and Hannity then Glenn...I don't always agree with Glenn and I do think sometimes he is too extreme but big O and Hannity are great! oh especially Meagan Kelly on at 10am lol

At first, I thought you were talking about the anti-Obama rally, not the Victoria March, which was 99% great stuff. That was a very wholesome, all-american rally-- the best I have seen this year. If you are gonna let a couple of signs out of 300 stop you, you may not have a strong enough stomach for what has to be done for our country. We are way past that, with the obscenties being perpetrated on our nation daily and more frequently all the time. THAT is what I find REALLY offensive.

If you read our blog on that August 28 event, you would already know that we don't approve of those signs. However, it happened, we were there and we reported the good and the bad. Most of the signs and people expressed a healthy disagreement with Obama's incumbency, on various grounds. What is significant is that it was the first West Coast event that we are aware of. It remains to be seen whether this movement will take hold after the election, when the House is likely to change hands.
Your friend Glenn Beck always stops short of really utilizing his "bully pulpit" to go for Obama's juglar. Tough times call for tough measures. I'm waiting for him to stand up and be counted, doing something besides ankle-biting. But, I won't hold my breath. One wonders whether Fox's ownership or management is restraining him, whether he has been threatened, or just wants to keep his money machine running smoothly. I don't believe we can take much more of this anti-American, international Socialist onslaught. The nation is already broke and losing liberties at an unprecedented rate.
I agree that the required work can be done, maybe even better without "666" signs though, even if they might have an element of truth in them.
I don't see how we could get the 2/3 Senate majority to remove Obama, but a House vote is conceivable. The loss of legitimacy that would ensue for Obama's "presidency" would be devastating, with that and the House victory stopping much of his agenda dead in its tracks. I suspect that another major downleg in the ecomomy, more Socialist nonsense and weakening of America will result in a significant hardening of hostility to Obama by a much broader section of society. Of course, Obama is only the most visible portion, or even just a symptom, of the problem. I believe that Beck has diagnosed some of the key causes, but don't believe we can wait multiple generations for his Rx to heal the patient. Some drastic measures are needed and very soon. We sit and wait at our peril.

How can we stand up to someone that creates a 100 dollar Federal Reserve (FR) note for 2 cents and uses the face value of the note of 100 dollars to buy a 100 dollar U.S. Security where the government has to pay them 4% in interest at the end of the year?
