I'm posting this because I think we always need to remember why it is so fantastic to be an American and in a tangible way, remembering why we need to fight so hard to maintain this country in a constitutional manner.

I'm moving from the mourning stage to a more contemplative one. We have lost a major battle that will fundamentally change this country for the worse if we can't either repeal or successfully legally challenge. Obama wasn't kidding. However, I think we should remember a couple of things to take some heart with and help us gain a perspective on how we beat this monster in the future.

As we continue to see the travesty which is occuring in Washington, those of us who are conservative clearly have extraordinary energy and enthusiasm to effect change. As a consequence it occurs to me that we should likely be thinking about what this means from a strategic perspective. In order to make good decisions about what activities to engage in, we need to have a plan for how we move forward.
