The Forum name, "Open Mike" refers to the tradition that some comedy and music clubs have of offering all comers the opportunity to perform live impromptu at their establishments, with any material they come up with that is consistent with the theme and policies of that organization (in our case, the Mission statement in "Read Me" section), We'll even consider stuff not consistent, if you can persuade us that changes are needed.

The U.S. Middle Class Is Being Wiped Out: Here are the Stats to Prove It
All but a few of our readers fell into the late, great "middle class," economically speaking, but more are dropping out, mostly involuntarily, all the time.
So does this mean we should don red stars and start singing the Internationale? Hardly, because that would be even worse. We'd then be totally dependent upon the government and big business for our daily dole, assuming that they would even give it to us. Obama/Pelosi/Reid are moving us there at breakneck speed.
We need to ask ourselves: why do we have lopsided laws favoring globalization, offshoring of jobs, a disadvantage in dealing with large monopolies, giving tax breaks to favored entities and allowing siphoning off of our wealth to fraudsters/banksters (but I repeat myself)? Why do we allow constantly growing government, taxation and regimentation, without offsetting benefits? Why do we allow the privileged to exempt themselves from laws? Why do we allow nearly unfettered illegal immigration and pay out lavish entitlements, especially when we have record deficits and unemployment? Why are we finishing off the job of destroying our health care system? Why do we have laws favoring monopolies of certain unions, who sap our competitiveness and ill serve their captive members? Why do we have a hugely expensive public education system far inferior to many other developed nations? Why is our tax burden so expensive in relation to the benefits that accrue to us? Why has the dollar depreciated 96% since the founding of the Federal Reserve? Why do we have nearly 20% REAL unemployment? Why do we have oppressive business regulation and taxation tat are neither attracting industry nor funding the ever-growing spending? Why, for that matter, do we permit politicians to spend more than we can afford and to take ever greater amounts from us? Why do we permit politicians to perpetrate immoral and destructive social policies? Are any of these facts related?
These are things that Tea Party people need to think and act upon.

The Tea Party is NOT racist. Of the millions of Tea Party protestors, you picked out a handful of their signs and generalized them to the entire movement. We run such people out of our local events.
It is an outright lie that "racist" epithets were hurled at members of the Black Caucus members in D.C., who went out of their way, through the Tea Party crowd, armed with video cameras and voice recorders, in a deliberate attempt to provoke them. Please produce your evidence. If they really feared violent racism, they wouldn't have done that.
The last three signs you show are not racist:
- “Obama’s plan- White Slavery” alludes to the servitude that will be required to service the unprecedented debt run up with the full support of Obama and his left-wing appointees.
- Equating Obama with Hitler is a political statement, not a racist statement. Obama is in fact acting more like a Fascist than a Jeffersonian Democrat. Comparisons of Bush to Hitler were common and even less justified.
- “The American Taxpayers Are The Jews For Obama’s Ovens” is a hyperbolic reference to the fact that Americans are victims of Obama’s policies.
The “Willis” sign must be an inside joke. Not sure what it means.
I can see your point about the others, but why are “monkey” references perfectly OK when applied to Bush, but not Obama?
We saw multiple “false flag” attempts to discredit the Tea Party at the 912 West event last year. We know this because of overheard conversations among the perpetrators. We ran them right out of our area and they stayed across the street, with two Obamacare “witch doctor” signs. Such allusions were perfectly fine to the left-wing, when applied to Reagan’s economic policies, but suddenly became toxic when applied to Obamacare.
Re: “The Long-Legged Mack Daddy” allusion applied to Obama was popularized by the Rev. James Manning, of Harlem, NY, or “Atlah,” as he refers to it. I suspected that it wasn’t a compliment and found this definition in an “urban dictionary”:
"A pimp is someone smooth and charismatic and good with women and uses his powers to exploit weak women.
A mack is a pimp that is able to exploit both men and women.
A mack daddy is a mac that is able to expoit other macs

I personally believe that it would have been hard for the USA to pick a worse first black President, with so many finer choices available. But then again, they also picked Carter, Clinton, Nixon and Bush.
The Democrats are about to suffer disastrous election defeats in November, which will hopefully set their left wing agenda back a half-century and help us restore Constitutional republic. This is all about policy, not race. Your mendacious attempts to equate the Tea Party with racism are only working with the extreme left wing 20%. These attempts are only pissing off the rest of us and will work about as well as Obama’s ham-handed attacks on Fox News, which experienced soaring ratings as a result. Thanks, Barry.

We see history repeat itself in the letters to the Federal Government, by Governor Jan Brewer, requesting assistance under Article 4, Section 4 of the Constitution and stating the federal obligation; those letters receiving no response from President Obama.
From 1853-1856, Governor Sterling Price, of Missouri, sent letters to President Pierce, requesting assistance from the Federal Government to stop raids by Kansas Jayhawkers into Missouri, stating the federal obligation under Article 4, section 4; these letters too were met by silence from the White House.
Copies of these letters can be found in the Missouri State Archives in Jefferson City MO.

Ok, it occurs to me that if we (conservatives) are able to put Republicans back in control in November that the lame duck session in Congress could be the most damaging month in the history or our republic. We need to march on Washington and shut down that lame duck session. Peaceful Civil disobedience in spades. Occupy the administration building like it was 1969! We have to make them abandon the capitol and leave the Capitol building.

How can we stand up to someone that creates a 100 dollar Federal Reserve (FR) note for 2 cents and uses the face value of the note of 100 dollars to buy a 100 dollar U.S. Security where the government has to pay them 4% in interest at the end of the year?
