Did anyone besides me wonder how they got all those and distributed far and wide, including to all the national parks and cemeteries overseas only eight to ten hours after the government shut down? Take a look at this from someone who wanted to remain anonymous.
I have worked in the government on and off for 40 years. During that time I became quite familiar with requisitions, bidding, awarding contracts etc. It is a time consuming process with bean-counters and pencil-necked bureaucrats every of the way. The simplest request takes months not days or hours.
In less than 8 hours of the shutdown, miraculously, professionally printed 3X4 foot signs appeared all over the country in the tens of thousands saying-“this [park, facility, etc. with custom logos] closed due to government shutdown. There has not been a government shutdown in 17 years.
These signs were designed, specifications were determined, signs were then requisitioned, bids were posted and vetted, government contracts were awarded. The materials were then ordered and the signs manufactured then distributed U.S. Mails or .
This shutdown was orchestrated and planned well in advance at least 6-8 months ago. Millions of tax dollars were appropriated and spent in this process. There is a paper trail a mile long leading directly to the White House.

Since 2008 one of the new words to be added to the American lexicon is “birther.” It’s used by the left and the media to denigrate people who believe that President Barack Obama is not eligible to be President of the United States.
The left sees birthers as something akin to a conspiracy theorist who believes that President Obama may indeed by some kind of Manchurian Candidate developed by the vast left-wing Islamo-fascist agenda. I don’t happen to believe this. I think that most birthers are passionate Americans who simply want to make sure that the laws are followed and people with a vested interest and love for our nation are our leaders.
The media also sees birthers as tin-foil behatted conspiracy theorists who may or may not be racists as well. The media believes that birthers would not care where the President was born if he were a Republican, and white. I think that the media, as usual, is way off base. I know that birthers are not racists because too many of them are friends of mine – and I am not white, and I think they would support me if I ever ran for office. Also, I know that birthers care about this issue whether the candidate is a Republican or a Democrat because I have had a lot of emails detailing why candidates like Ted Cruz in particular are ineligible to be President.
Now, I happen to disagree. I believe that Ted Cruz is eligible because of the simple argument outlined by Ilya Shapiro of the libertarian Cato Institute.
“It boils down to whether Cruz is a “natural born citizen” of the United States, the only class of people constitutionally eligible for the presidency… What’s a “natural born citizen”? The Constitution doesn’t say, but the Framers’ understanding, combined with statutes enacted by the First Congress, indicate that the phrase means both birth abroad to American parents — in a manner regulated by federal law — and birth within the nation’s territory regardless of parental citizenship… Harvard law professor Laurence Tribe and former solicitor general Ted Olson… co-authored a memorandum in March 2008 detailing the above legal explanation in the context of John McCain’s eligibility… In other words, anyone who is a citizen at birth — as opposed to someone who becomes a citizen later (“naturalizes”) or who isn’t a citizen at all — can be president…
So the one remaining question is whether Ted Cruz was a citizen at birth. That’s an easy one. The Nationality Act of 1940 outlines which children become ‘nationals and citizens of the United States at birth.’ …That single-parent requirement has been amended several times, but under the law in effect between 1952 and 1986 — Cruz was born in 1970 — someone must have a citizen parent who resided in the United States for at least 10 years, including five after the age of 14, in order to be considered a natural-born citizen. Cruz’s mother, Eleanor Darragh, was born in Delaware, lived most of her life in the United States, and gave birth to little Rafael Edward Cruz in her 30s. QED”
The entire article is well written and explains the position in much more depth, but the basic point is that Senator Cruz is eligible to be President, even by the standards of those who may question President Obama’s eligibility.
So dear friends, when the time comes to pull the lever for Ted Cruz (if he is indeed the Republican nominee in 2016), you can do so boldly knowing that some of our finest legal minds have confidence in his eligibility to be President of the United States.

Grover Norquist, Who has Ties to Actual Terrorists, Calls Tea Party "Terrorists"
It’s funny how Grover Norquist and his employees and the left are on the same ... despite their supposed commitment to tax reform.
In an email reviewed by The Daily Beast and dated October 17, Ryan Ellis, the director of tax policy for Grover Norquist’s Americans for Tax Reform, declared, “the Repeal Coalition was hijacked by Defund terrorists. They flew the plane in a new direction and assured us that x, y, and z would follow. Not only did they not follow, but in fact a, b, and c happened.”
When more liberal voices, such as Chris Matthews and Al Gore, have compared Cruz and his cohorts to terrorists, they’ve come under attack from conservatives.
Speaking of terrorists, there’s Grover Norquist. Who is in bed with actual terrorists, not metaphorical terrorists.
In 1998, Abdurahman Alamoudi, a self-described "supporter of Hamas and Hezbollah," took an interest in Norquist, whom he knew to be one of the Republican Party's most influential networkers.
The Treasury Department later identified Alamoudi as one of Al-Qaeda’s top North American fundraisers.
One of the organizations that Alamoudi funded was Norquist’s Islamic Free Market Institute, which was also funded by the Saudis and the governments of Qatar and Kuwait.
Alamoudi even spoke at an anti-Israel hatefest in October 2000 co-sponsored and promoted by Norquist’s Islamic Institute, where Alamoudi led the crowd gathered in Lafayette Park across from the White House making his support for terrorists crystal clear, saying:
“I have been labeled by the media in New York to be a supporter of Hamas,” Alamoudi told a crowd of about 3,000 people in Washington’s Lafayette Park on Saturday who were protesting U.S. Mideast policies. “Anybody support Hamas here?” Alamoudi asked three times, as the crowd roared its approval.
“Hear that, Bill Clinton?” he continued. “We are all supporters of Hamas. I wish they added that I am also a supporter of Hezbollah.”
And yet Norquist continued to push Alamoudi, even arranging for the Al-Qaeda financier (who was funneling money for Osama bin Laden since as early as 1993) to appear with President Bush just days after the 9/11 attacks.
It’s like Grover Norquist is a terrorist who hijacked tax policy… to promote actual terrorism. But don’t worry. Americans for Tax Reform and Ryan Ellis are laser focused on the issues that really matter.
ATR Supports Tax Equity for Cannabis Dispensary Employers
Due to a quirk in tax law, legal cannabis dispensary businesses cannot deduct ordinary and necessary business expenses like any other business can. Unlike any other business type in the country, these firms and these firms alone are not free to deduct “ordinary and necessary” business expenses like wages, equipment, and rent. H.R. 2240 fixes this quirk of tax law and restores fairness for these employers.
ATR today released a study explaining this issue and the policy solution for it. ATR also sent a letter to Capitol Hill urging co-sponsorship of H.R. 2240.

How can we stand up to someone that creates a 100 dollar Federal Reserve (FR) note for 2 cents and uses the face value of the note of 100 dollars to buy a 100 dollar U.S. Security where the government has to pay them 4% in interest at the end of the year?
