"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
Timeless words. So simple and very powerful, yet they were almost abandoned until recently.
By the way, have you noticed how concise and elegant our Constitution is, compared to, say, Obamacare or other statist, Socialist directives?

Any politician, political appointee, bureaucrat, czar, black-robed god, or other stakeholder in the corporation known as The United States a.k.a., The United States of America, who with malice and forethought, who with the intent to profit at the expense of the people, who openly or deceptively operates as an foreign lobbyist for foreign interests, who contracts against the freedom and independence of 'we the people', who acts or votes to abrogate the rights of 'we the people, will be immediately seized, jailed and held for high crimes against the people of the fifty (50) independent yet, united, states.Oh! I like the phrase Michelle Bachmann used when she described the forced closing of auto dealerships:
I personally can not vote and would not for her or anyone who would vote to gut the 4th Amendment as the Patriot Act does...
Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote that he is not making a present or a compliment to please an individual - or at least that he ought not so to do; but that he is executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country." --Samuel Adams, in the Boston Gazette, 1781
And anyone who would vote to not stand up for the protection of our Rights has lost or violated that solemn trust they have been place in the office of a public servent..
