Terrible things are occurring in our country--

a financial crash, credit crunch, real estate crash, enormous debt, massive unemployment, galloping Socialism and nationalization/heavy regulation. We need decisive action to reverse things ...
Our leaders are not responding appropriately and are actually making things worse, with left wing ideology, panicked reactions, vote-pandering giveaways and multi-trillion dollar bailouts, recklessly spending our money-- and that of our descendants. Our Constitution and laws are being violated with impunity-- by the very people entrusted with making and enforcing them. Most have not responded to citizen pressure and the clear will of the majority of concerned citizens, including the Tea Parties.
Short of an all-out revolution, the most effective, recommended approach is via the electoral system. Our best legal, peaceful remedy is to become educated about candidates and issues, try to influence who is nominated (vote in CA primary June 8) and vote our informed consciences on November 2. Support those who you believe are most likely to carry out the Tea Party objectives of fiscal responsibility, lower taxes and spending, restoration of liberties and establishment of a Constitutional republic. We must also be on the lookout for electoral tampering.
Tea Partiers have been waving signs, chanting slogans and incessantly pressuring legislators for a year now. It really hasn't influenced legislator votes much-- certainly not enough. However it has helped to awaken a large and growing portion of the public, who are taking action, via supporting candidates more likely to pursue our agenda, influencing the public, changing the tenor of the national debate, moving issues/officials/candidates poll numbers dramatically and flipping elections nationwide, such as NJ, VA and MA.
The biggest single 2010 Tea Party focus should be influencing the outcome of the critical 2010 elections.
We encourage you to participoate in Tea pary acvtivities, help us with and use the under-construction Election Forum amd resources on this site.
You actions can include, but not be limited to:
- Researching and getting educated on candidates and issues (send us information to use on the Forum)
- Supporting (financially and working for) candidates and causes (including ballot initiatives) that will advance our cause.
- Participating in forums, rallies, caucuses, party activities.
- Influencing friends, associates, family and the public-- talk, write, act, provide materials.
This is an especially important year to do all this, since we may be approaching irreversible transformation of political and economic systems via legislation such as Obamacare, cap & trade, Immigration, financial regulations, borrowing, spending, social policies and more. If you are "too busy" to get involved, I respcetfully request that you consider at least a portion of your time and resources this year, especially.
