Our Runaway Train Government
When America’s Founders constituted our government they did it with the knowledge of one main truth. That truth is that all governments, no matter how small, benevolent, benign, or restricted will always seek to expand, consume, and eventually enslave its citizens. They knew this because it has happened consistently since man began congregating in caves. They knew that the American government would be no different so they devoted their efforts to build in sufficient safeguards to give their future generations a fighting chance against the inevitable.
Imagine our government, at its beginning in 1788 to be like a mere railroad handcart. Simple, unadorned, functional, and fairly safe. If it ever went off the rails or down the wrong track it could be lifted by a few strong men and returned to its proper path. As time went on, the cart took on passengers, (citizens and employees) and it became bigger to accommodate them. Soon these passengers demanded seats so fares were increased to cover the costs. Eventually, the cart became a train with an engine and began providing things to its riders that the original builders could not have envisioned. Rail cars became enclosed and air conditioned etc. As ridership grew, the new passengers demanded free travel, free food, free drugs if they got sick, and anything they may need as they traveled.
Of course costs skyrocketed, and the cars grew top-heavy with all the riders demanding that the train carry them down the rails so the railroad company started hiring passengers to help service all these people. Of course those who had money paid outrageous fees to ride while others had their tickets, food, medical care, etc “subsidized”.
Then some enterprising young rider got the idea to bring sandwiches aboard to sell to the passengers. That worked very well for a long time until the young entrepreneur became a lawyer and realized that he could buy rotten meat at much less cost. Then when passengers got sick, he would represent them in a lawsuit against the railroad company. Eventually, the company had enough of that so they confiscated the rotten meat sandwich company and began producing rotten meat sandwiches themselves so the lawyer could concentrate on his law practice to sue any doctors who might help the sick.
You get the idea; here is a train, (our government) barreling down the tracks, its size and speed never intended or seen before, doing things it has no mandate to do. Ronald Reagan was the train’s last engineer to touch the brakes of this train. Bush 41 put a cinderblock on the throttle. Clinton stole the brake pedal. Bush 43 hired illegal aliens to constantly shovel coal into the boiler and Osama Barak is mounting a jet engine in the caboose while Harry Greed and Nazi Pelosi are welding the throttle wide open.
All the while, we have civil employee unions providing coal from sidetracks, there are people parachuting on for a free ride, and anyone who could repair the tracks has either left the job or climbed onboard while liberals are lined up cheering it on as it heads toward a totalitarian cliff.
And then there is you, the patriot. Standing alone on the track in the dead of night with one hand up in a “halt” gesture and a copy of the Constitution in the other with a terrified deer-in-the-headlights look on your face, wondering, “What the hell is going on here?” I’ll tell you. As I said, government is going in the direction on the track it always follows; the track to totalitarianism. What is perplexing to us all is that there are citizens who would actually push, assist, climb aboard and facilitate the train’s (government’s) complete takeover of our lives and liberty. We can easily realize that government wants to grow and consume us, it is just appalling to us that free people could be so accommodating, enthusiastic, and insistent that it happen! You are not simply standing alone against a runaway train but against one that is facilitated by millions of people overjoyed to be fueling it! That is what makes our crusade so hard but so necessary.
We will either need to climb aboard the train to undo the evil modifications or derail it from without. Otherwise we will all be sucked aboard and taken over that cliff with it. You will not do it alone. You will not do it by complaining. You will not do it by simply voting in Republicans as proven by the last Republican majority. You will do it by forming groups to go into society to educate people into the beliefs of America’s Founders. You will do it by putting your country ahead of your political party. You will do it or it will not get done and your children and grandchildren will ask you why you sat idly by and did nothing while their birthright was stolen from you.

How can we stand up to someone that creates a 100 dollar Federal Reserve (FR) note for 2 cents and uses the face value of the note of 100 dollars to buy a 100 dollar U.S. Security where the government has to pay them 4% in interest at the end of the year?
