This is how we'll end up if this succeeds

Starting next month ACORN and its friends will no longer need to go door to door to create voter fraud. Thanks to the Democrats in Sacramento, they will be able to do it in the comfort of their homes, while smoking funny cigarettes and laughing at the jerks who are real people who think their votes count.
Timm Herdt in the Star wrote, “Beginning next month, Californians for the first time will be able to use the Internet to register to vote, giving them about six weeks of online access to register in time to participate in the Nov. 6 presidential election.” “In an advisory sent late Wednesday, the office of Secretary of State Debra Bowen informed the state’s 58 county elections officers that the California Online Voter Registration System is in its final stages of testing and will become operational in early September. Software upgrades are scheduled to be electronically transmitted to the counties Friday, with online training for local officials to be conducted next week.”
Imagine being able to create ID’s for people, including phony Social Security numbers and addresses, without leaving the comfort of your home. We currently do not verify voter registrations that come in by mail. Why do we think voter registration online will be better? The current absentee ballot verification method is by signature verification.
So, a fraud creates a voter from thin air. Then they get an absentee ballot, and the “original” signature is the same—so a corrupt ballot is cast.
Several years ago Bob Dornan lost a congressional seat based on a little over 5,000 illegal votes—documentation was provided the Secretary of State and the Attorney General. Nothing was done and Loretta Sanchez (D—Orange County/Hugh Hefner) was elected by under a thousand votes. No one was arrested, indicted or brought to a court of law. That opened up the flood gates of voter registration fraud.
Recently, the State of Florida did a purge of dead and illegal voters. They found 235,000 non existent or dead voters. Someone estimates that California, based on the same formula has over 700,000 illegal registrants. I have no idea what the real number is, but clearly it is in the hundreds of thousands. Have you heard the Democrat Secretary of State ordering a purge and verification of voters?
The bottom line to this is that honest people knowing the corruption of the electoral process feel little need to spend time voting. Why should they—corruption inside the system will out “vote” them?Once online registration begins, any pretext of honesty is gone. The system is unable to verify registration, hence unable to verify absentee ballots. Plus, you have office holders unwilling to do the basics to keep the voting rolls accurate.
Jobs, the pension and deficit crisis, failed government schools, public safety, illegal aliens, turning local government into agencies promoting Agenda 21 are all important issues.
We structurally change California via the ballot box. If the ballot box is corrupt, then polices are corrupt. The first step toward ending the California Depression and its’ causes is to fix the election process and make it honest. Online registration is just another step in making California elections like Chicago or Cuban elections. We already have, thanks to Munger and Prop. 14, 28 legislative races of same party candidates—NO choice for the voters. Add policies that make voter fraud easier and we have a Banana Republic.
Either speak up now or don’t complain in the future. Will you write a letter to the editor? Pass this editorial to your email lists; enlist others in the cause of honest elections.
