A number of SoCal organizations joined forces to work on poll watching and other voter fraud prevention/detection activities this year. To make a long story short, we found multiple examples of fraud, possible/potential fraud in various locations in Southern California-- enough to justify a longer term effort to follow up on 2010 cases and work on better approaches for future elections.
If you would like to be part of that…Continue

Our November 16 General Meeting has been postponed.
It was supposed to be a post-election party and "what next" meeting. But, frankly, we don't feel much like partying, after seeing the…Continue

Kingdom Center Homeless Shelter site- before
This was written by Neal Andrews, Ventura City Councilman, who seems to be sort of a Conservative conscience of Ventura. Note the upcoming November 15 meeting.

I put up our flag this morning going out. I live in a patriotic neighborhood, where some neighbors fly their flags every day. I noticed that there were even more out than usual for the holiday, as folks like us put theirs up, too. Driving around today revealed that we live in an atypical neighborhood. When I got home, I saw this posting from Ray and Roxie and made it available for your examination.
Have a great Vets day. Ray and…Continue

Rick Perry, making his cash register ring
Well, some nationally known politician beside Ron Paul has to say it as strongly as he did for it to get some real traction. Rick Perry is suddenly the Tea Party candidate and his previous talk about the North American Union, immigration "reform": and his CFR association are already forgotten,
I can't disagree with these…Continue

So, maybe not all that time spent knocking on doors, making phone calls, carrying and putting up signs was wasted after all. Ventura County was one of only two registered Democrat majority counties in the state to go Republican this year-- and the only coastal county.

I'll admit that I was not intially impressed with John Boehner. He seemed a cardboard cutout, a mediocrity. But something happened during the crises of the last few years- the crash, the nightmare…Continue

We poll-watched the perceived higher risk Oxnard precincts with a team of 14 people. We made a bunch of GOTV phone calls to missing Republicans and got some hits, but…Continue

Right now, three teams are patrolling Oxnard polling places, under the able leadership of Bill Scarpino. We have only seen one problem polling place so far.
There is an additional large group watching the Isla Vista/UCSB area, scene of serious problems in 2008, including up to 120% voter turnout.
We could use help in Oxnard, Ventura, anywhere in the county, actually, even if its just spending another hour or two after you vote and watching. See our previous poll…Continue
