SBTP Calls for Protest March
in Response to Passage of Government Takeover of HC
using Corruption & Constitutional Violations
In response to the passage of the yet-to-be-written health care legislation by the House of Representatives that transfers one-sixth of the economy and student loans to government control, Santa Barbara Tea Party has called for a protest march next Saturday, March 27, at 3 PM in downtown Santa Barbara. "We are calling for this protest, because we believe that March 21st will be remembered as the day that a dagger was thrust through the heart of the Republic, and when the will of the people was spat upon," said Steve Thomas, SBTP board member. "We feel we must respond."
