Sadly, power brokers from 400 miles away have decided to use Simi Valley as their next target. The membership Secreatry of CRA has decided that his role is that of Secretary, President and Charter Review Chair. We have received no cooperation with him. Instead he has decided to declare his superiority over the State CRA. In fact, he is doing this to several other clubs.
I want to be productive, not fight other conservatives. This is a waste of time. Regardless of the outcome he has ruined our credibility in Sacramento--only those legislators who want CRA as their personal playground are still involved. It is time to fight Democrats and liberals. The goal of CRA is not to control the control but have a seat at the table in politics and policies.
Therefore, I am cancelling the meeting for Thursday night and going to spend my time productively, promoting our principles and electing conservatives. Fighting for control of an organize that will be controlled by people with personal agenda's is a waste of my time.
