Will YOU Save Freedom? Catch The Tea Party Wave

"The penalty for not participating in politics is to be governed by your inferiors." - Plato

The Presidency is the big political prize. With the worst "president" ever as the incumbent, who is already campaigning, you would think he is in deep trouble, but he could actually win, especially if the GOP fumbles-- and they did.

Looks like we have Barack Hussein Obama-Soetoro-Soebarkah-Bounel back and he will be much worse the second time around, full of himself, arrogant, spoiling for revenge, no more elections, "flexibility" for Vladmir, making energy prices "skyrocket," increasing Socialism, deploying Czars, borrowing, spending, QE, taxes,Supreme Court "Justices," especially if the Senate rolls over like last term.

For all practical purposes, we are down to only two viable candidates, AKA Obama and Romney. The battle is on.

Mitt Romney, Nominated by GOP 8-28-12

Mitt Picks Paul Ryan for VP

Gary Johnson, Libertarian Nominee

Ed Noonan, CA AIP Nominee

A stacked AIP convention ignored the will of the voters and picked Tom Hoefling as its nominee. Why should they be any different from the Republicrats?

- Mitt Romney- W- Bright, highly successful businessman/consultant, Romneycare issue, baggage, flip-flopped on choice, cap/trade, amnesty, now denying "warming," or is he? Opposes SB1070, RINO. Polling well. Choice of GOP hierarchy. Possible eligibility questions. Won NH, 2nd in SC. Won FL big.  CA Nominee and national nominee as of 8-28-12- Congrats!

- Gary Johnson- W- Former successful businessman (construction), 2-time former New Mexico Governor, anti-tax, anti-bureaucracy, Libertarian, pro-choice, more, more, more. Barred from debates. Left GOP to run as Libertarian. CA Nominee and national nominee- Congrats!

- Ed Noonan-W- American Independent Party. Constitutional Conservative. Challenges Obama's eligibility. Shares some of Ron Paul's monetary policy views, but more Conservative overall.  CA AIP Nominee- Congrats!

- Laurie Roth-W- American Independent Party- Singer, songwriter, talk show hostess (IRN-USA), actively challenges Obama's eligibility, work to make America energy independent, stop drug trade, go to only 2% consumption tax.

- John Dummett- W- CA govt. programmer, doesn't seem to have many qualifications, except common sense and intelligence, which I suppose puts him ahead of the incumbent, whose eligibility he actively  challenges, along with the 16th Amendment.

As far as I know, this only includes Republican and Democrat nominees.- G.M.

So, we're down to Romney. John Dummett is still running, but the big parties and media will make sure you don't hear much about him.  The third party candidates lack money, support and publicity to do much. Cody Robert Judy is the only opposition Democrat running with any visibility at all, but not TV or debates. Instead, he is more in the courts, suing Obama over his ineligibility to run, as are candidates such as Ed Noonan (AIP), Laurie Roth (I).  Republicans are eerily silent about that 300 lb. gorilla. even with very strong evidence to back it up. Unfortunately, millions are expected not to vote over their dissatisfaction with Progressive Republican nominee Romney. We caution you about that. PLEASE consider the alternative.  Are you willing to put an ineligible incumbent back in office to make your point?

And how much of an OBSTINATE SELF RIGHTEOUS JERK do you have to be to force EVERYONE ELSE to buy into your ROMNEYCARE rather than just say "Hey! It was the best I could do at the time but in hindsight it was a mistake"

GRRRRRrrrrrrr!

Also, to clarify my position on Newt I think he should have "danced with the girl he brought to the party" by staying positive and on message campaigning and using debates to eviscerate his opponents.

He "may not" have changed from progressive but I still think he's the only one who could downsize the current trajectory in DC if GOP doesn't take the Senate and be a stepping stone to smaller government with Rubio as VP and then President.

Understanding the Ron Paul phenomenon

By Wayne Allyn Root

Published February 04, 2012

| FoxNews.com

Ron Paul is a phenomenon many establishment politicians cannot understand. But as a leading Libertarian-conservative media personality, as well as the 2008 Libertarian Vice Presidential nominee, I completely understand this phenomenon, and I hope to solve the mystery here today at FoxNews.com.

Mitt Romney won Florida by a landslide (as I publicly predicted). On Saturday Romney will also win my home state of Nevada by a landslide. But as usual, Ron Paul will have the most enthusiastic, passionate and energetic supporters in Nevada – as he does in every state.

After years of being the lone Libertarian voice in Congress, and often being the lone vote on issues, Congressman Paul is today a folk hero. After 25 long years of fighting for Libertarian and fiscally conservative values, this little old Texas baby doctor has become an “overnight success.”

The Ron Paul phenomenon is perhaps the most interesting story to come out of the 2012 election to date, simply because he breaks all the stereotypes of a successful candidate or movement. Ron Paul is not handsome (like Mitt Romney). He’s not exciting (like Sarah Palin). He’s not charismatic (like a Reagan or JFK). He’s not super articulate (like Obama). And he’s sure not young. If I were to run for President in 2030, I would still be younger than Ron Paul is today.

So what’s the attraction? Why are so many Americans passionate fans of Ron Paul? And why in particular do so many young people who tune out of politics, tune in for Ron Paul?

Let me start with his #1 attribute. Ron Paul is RELENTLESS. He just never gives up. It has been said that if you keep your suits long enough, they’ll eventually come back in style. Ron Paul’s brand of Libertarianism and freedom is back in style – because of his dedication, persistence and tenacity.

The foundation of relentlessness is unshakable faith. Tim Tebow’s NFL season full of miracles proves the value of intense faith. Well, Ron Paul has that kind of intense faith in the old fashioned values of God, country, freedom, personal responsibility, and capitalism. And Paul’s enthusiasm and faith is genuine, not fake or manufactured. Voters can see that and they like it.

Secondly, while Ron Paul is not your traditional politician, and is painted by the media as extreme, the voters are starting to realize that it is the traditional status quo politicians that led us right into this economic Armageddon. Those “traditional” views about everything – debt, taxes, spending, entitlements, Social Security, bailouts for billionaire bankers, the Fed, wars – led to the insolvency and bankruptcy of this great country. Perhaps it’s time to think "out of the box."

Even more damning, these same traditional beliefs have led to an unprecedented economic disaster facing Europe at this moment. Europe’s survival is in doubt because of too many government employees, big pensions, too much debt, spending, entitlements, taxes, free healthcare, powerful unions, and the “green energy” fraud. America has followed this same tragic path under both Republican and Democrat Presidents. Ron Paul has been warning us for many years.

Ron Paul predicted the Community Reinvestment Act, Fannie Mae, and Freddy Mac would destroy the housing market. He predicted reckless government spending would lead to an unemployment crisis. He predicted the high cost of college, driven by student loans, would enslave college graduates. He railed about “crony capitalism.” He voted against the unconstitutional bailouts to banks and Wall Street. He predicted the Fed's irresponsible printing of fake dollars would burden our children with trillions in debt. He was right. Americans are starting to notice.

Lastly, we come to the true energy of the Ron Paul Revolution – the youth vote. Polls show young people are fiscally conservative, yet socially tolerant.

Ron Paul’s brand of Libertarianism appeals to them. Like Ron Paul, young people want government out of their bedroom and wallet. They crave economic and personal freedom. They want spending on wars ratcheted down. They no longer want to pay for the defense of rich nations like GermanyJapan and South Korea with money we can't afford.

And they want to see the drug war ratcheted down too. They want drugs treated like a medical problem, not a violent crime. Most importantly, they understand the $15 trillion national debt will be dumped on them like a crushing credit card bill. Ron Paul is the only one who has been warning young people about these issues for decades. They trust the grandfatherly baby doctor.

Voters don't have to agree with Dr. Paul on everything to appreciate his wisdom.

I'm an unabashed supporter of Israel

My views on foreign affairs, the war on terror, and military spending may be more moderate than Dr. Paul’s. But one does not have to agree with him on every position to appreciate how much he pushed us in the right direction.

Our nation is bankrupt and we must change the old way of doing things, or run off the cliff. How far we go, how much we cut, is up for debate. But we need his voice of reason – he is right on so many issues today.

Now let me give the almost-certain GOP nominee Mitt Romney some unsolicited advice. The GOP needs Ron Paul. You need his Libertarian supporters. You desperately need a shot in the arm – the energy, passion and excitement that Paul's youth vote brings to your campaign. Disregard them at your own peril.

If I was Mitt Romney  I’d be looking at harnessing all that excitement and passion by offering Ron Paul either Treasury Secretary or Federal Reserve Chairman – and announcing it to the world. Embrace Ron Paul, bring him and his son Senator Rand Paul into your inner circle, and give them an important role at the GOP Convention. Sure, just being the anti-Obama could win the election, but having the enthusiasm and passion of Paul's supporters will ice the victory. Embracing the Ron Paul phenomenon is the key to beating Obama in November.

Mark Levin: Obama is cooking the books with unemployment

Mark Levin says this game the Obama administration is playing with the unemployment numbers, removing 1.2 million people out of the workforce in order to get unemployment lower, reminds him of the propaganda used in the old Soviet Union where they would lie about record high wheat production levels while people were starving to death. And yet our media is operating the same way, refusing to tell the whole story and applauding 8.3% unemployment as though it were a record low.

Levin says this is evidence of a declining nation and an out of control government that’s trying to manipulate you into believing that everything is OK.

http://www.therightscoop.com/levin-obama-is-cooking-the-books-with-...

.

They're missing the really big distortion, which is to omit those whose unemployment benefits have run out (a HUGE number), the underemployed and the idle self-employed. Real number is about 17-18%.

Romney took 47%. Gingrich and Paul trailed. Paul tripled his 2008 numbers and whipped Santorum. Bachmann, Huntsman, Perry, Cain, Trump, Daniels,  and others were driven out of the race. So why was Paul's performance "spectacularly" poor and not theirs?

I don't think anyone mentioned anything about "Paul's poor performance."

Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) will not end his quest for the GOP nomination, and has not ruled out a third party run for the White House.

Should Paul and his supporters get behind the Republican nominee in order to prevent another four years of Barack Obama?

Subject: Seen our jobs chart?

Joe --

On Friday, the new monthly jobs numbers came out. We've officially had 23 consecutive months of private-sector job growth, and seen 3.7 million private-sector jobs created under this President.

In response to the news, Mitt Romney cynically claimed President Obama has "prevented a true economic recovery." He's even falsely said President Obama "has not created any new jobs," and told ABC News earlier this year that the President has "lost 2 million jobs."

The Republican candidates are banking on people not knowing the truth about the President's record.

We need to get the facts out there -- so we put together this chart where you can Facebook it, tweet it, or send it on a postcard for free.

Click here to share it to your friends and family who need to see i...

Help spread the word about the President's jobs record.

Tens of thousands of supporters have already shared this jobs chart online. Now, we want to make sure it's out there in the offline world, too -- in people's hands, on their refrigerators, or on a message board in a public library. You can share it either way.

We still have a long way to go, and this month's numbers are just a snapshot in time. But stats like this shouldn't be missed.

Make sure people know the truth about the President's record on jobs -- spread the word to your friends today:

As one of the idle self-employed, I'm not buying this. If they're using unemployment insurance as a measure, they're not counting those who have given up, those who ran out of benefits, those who are working several part time jobs to survive, and those who never qualified as they were paid on a 1099 basis or were business owners. Warped statistics. Expected from this bunch.

LOL!

How about this instead?  http://www.shadowstats.com/

Hi Gang,

Some weeks ago, I sent you a link to the (PDF file) Opposition Report prepared by John McCain's 2008 campaign on Mitt Romney.  Many of you said you either a) didn't receive it or b) inadvertently passed it by.

It's important to know what the corporate media is not telling us about Romney, so I'm sending you the report again as an attachment to this email.

Scroll down below to see the topics/issues that are researched and reported on.  Then read the report to see where Romney really stands, based on his past record, on every issue of importance to this country.  Remember,

Santorum wins Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri

Rick Santorum swept all three Republican presidential contests held on Tuesday, winning caucuses in Colorado and Minnesota as well as Missouri's primary. Though no delegates were at stake in Tuesday's contests, Santorum's wins give his campaign fresh momentum against national front-runner Mitt Romney. Santorum's win in Colorado was confirmed by the Colorado GOP chairman late Tuesday night.

The administration’s attempt to intimidate Fox News and its employees will not succeed and their excuses will stand neither the test of law, the test of decency, nor the test of time. We will not allow a climate of press intimidation, unseen since the McCarthy era, to frighten any of us away from the truth.

"There are 27 amendments in the Constitution but only one says 'shall not be infringed,'" Steve Toth said. "The Second Amendment is the amendment that keeps the people free."

“The States then being the parties to the constitutional compact, and in their sovereign capacity, it follows of necessity, that there can be no tribunal above their authority, to decide in the last resort, whether the compact made by them be violated; and consequently that as the parties to it, they must themselves decide in the last resort, such questions as may be of sufficient magnitude to require their interposition.” – James Madison

"A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again."

This country does not need to have a conversation about how many bullets should go in a clip. It does need to have a conversation about how many parents should go in a family. It needs to talk about the ghettos of Obamerica and have a serious conversation about broken families and generational dependency. It needs to have a conversation about funneling new immigrants from broken parts of the world into areas already suffering from high levels of unemployment and street violence.- Daniel Greenfield

A federal government which does not derive its lawful and limited authority from the Constitution of the United States is by definition an occupation government and criminal regime.  It’s authority is null and void and no one is bound by any rule of law to obey it. --Donald L. Cline

Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of liberty." -- Thomas Jefferson

“Disarmament of the populace is always the first step to depriving them of their civil rights and human rights…many African-Americans and women are actively assaulting the very document that first secured their own freedom... if you do not believe in the Bill of Rights, then you are not, at heart, an American.” – Mike Adams

Only in America could liberals talk about the greed of the rich at a $35,000 a plate campaign fund raising event.

We need to demythologize guns before the liberal attempt to create a totemic fear of them succeeds. If the gun control mentality promoting fear of guns themselves becomes our national mentality, we would turn the clock back to the days when a warrior class ruled over the people because only they had the confidence and expertise to deploy the means of defense and coercion. The gun control agenda will turn us into a people too timid to defend themselves from our would-be masters. – Alan Keyes

So now that there is a new tragedy the president wants to have a “national conversation on guns”. Here’s the thing. Until this national conversation is willing to entertain allowing teachers to carry concealed weapons, then it isn’t a conversation at all, it is a lecture. – Larry Correia'

How can we stand up to someone that creates a 100 dollar Federal Reserve (FR) note for 2 cents and uses the face value of the note of 100 dollars to buy a 100 dollar U.S. Security where the government has to pay them 4% in interest at the end of the year? A yearly cost of 4 FR notes where it only cost the FR 2 cents to print.

This is the biggest Conspiracy you may ever encounter and this started sometime around 1913. Yes, your parents and their parents had so much of their time stolen from them at a cost of 2 pennies. “Capital must protect itself in every possible way, both by combination and legislation. Debts must be collected, mortgages foreclosed as rapidly as possible. When, through the process of law, the common people lose their homes, they will become more docile and more easily governed through the strong arm of government applied by a central power of wealth under leading financiers. These truths are well known among our principal men who are now engaged in forming an imperialism to govern the world. By dividing the voter through the political party system, we can get them to expend their energies in fighting for questions of no importance. It is thus by discreet action we can secure for ourselves that which has been so well planned and so successfully accomplished.”
- President American Bankers Association, 1924

"Sixty-one percent of debt issued by the Treasury is bought by the Federal Reserve -- which is to say the left hand of the U.S. Government is lending money to the right hand of the US Government. ... Nonetheless, in a land where every mewling babe in the American nursery is born with a debt burden of just under $200,000, the president brags that only his party is 'compassionate' to have no plan whatsoever even to attempt to do anything about this, no way, no how, not now, not ever." --columnist Mark Steyn

"The actual need for a service, its relevance and value is always subordinate to the bureaucracy. You go into a government agency: 'Get to the back of the queue and wait until you are called!”'
